Position Type: Full Time

Develop relationships with prospective landowners with the goal of closing on property acquisitions in fee simple or joint development via application of conservation easement.

CAD/Survey Technician

Position Type: Full Time 

Start Date: September 2016

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

RES is hiring a qualified and exceptional individual with survey field experience and proficiency in various AutoCAD platforms to fill the position of CAD/Survey Technician.

Survey Field Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience using Trimble GNSS systems, TSC3 Controllers, Trimble GeoXH controllers, Trimble S5 Robotic stations, Nikon total stations and all standard survey equipment.
  • Experience performing the following surveys: property boundary/easement, traverse, topographic, construction stake-out, control and as-built using various means and methods.
  • Crew chief or instrument man experience is a plus.

Software Experience:

  • Knowledgeable and proficient use of AutoCAD, Civil3D and Map3D platforms to create a wide array of engineering and regulatory data sets.
  • Moderate familiarity with Carlson and Trimble Business Center is a plus.

Work Requirements:

  • Be able to perform surveying tasks on all types of terrain under all types of weather conditions.
  • Be able to travel and work overnight as needed.

RES is hiring Analysts to enable our growth activities. Multiple openings are available.

Analysts report to the Executive Vice President of Marketing & Research and work closely with an extended team – analysts, account managers, land representatives, regulatory experts, government affairs, field operations and executive management.

Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing, capturing and analyzing data on markets for ecological offset solutions
  • Analyzing and reporting on historical trends
  • Estimating and reporting on potential impacts from development projects
  • Developing business forecasts using economic development data

Analysts will be provided with the background knowledge and resources necessary to develop a full understanding of the markets where RES operates. Successful candidates will be driven and self-motivated, as Analysts will be given a high degree of independence to develop market analyses that RES will use to drive business growth. The Analyst position is designed to lead to positions of greater responsibility, as determined by both skill-level and performance.
